Le Marche is a beautiful county, nestled right on the calf of the Italian boot, located on the Adriatic Sea.

Le Marche has so much to offer a traveler, such as beaches, medieval villages, history dating back to the time of dinosaurs, olive picking, wineries, beautiful churches with secret pagan churches under them, hiking and biking in the gorgeous Monti Sibillini National Park where there is skiing, snowboarding, and snowkiting in the winter months.

The food here is all fresh and organic from local farmers and the fishermen go out for the days catch every day but Sunday.  No seafood restaurant is open on Monday.
Time has stopped here and has taken a breath of fresh air, I hope you enjoy discovering the  Beauty of Le Marche.

Above under “My Blogs”, in the drop-down menu, you will find some Fun and informative Blogs. Here in Le Marche we have FIVE  Providences,

Pesaro Urbino

Ancona

Macerata

Fermo

Ascoli Piceno

Each of these provinces, have their own unique and special stories to tell.

I personally will be going out exploring, collecting information and taking photos of these five provinces. In hope to attract you to come and visit this  magical place Le Marche has to offer. When a tourist thinks of traveling to Italy, what comes to mind? Rome, Florence & Venice are the three main cities to travel to.

Le Marche, is a bit off the beaten path of the usual tourist, who travels around Italy.  You do have to make an effort to come, but I think it is worth while.

I only hope you enjoy my blog posts, and I am able to convoy the magic through my words and photos.

*** Also in the drop down menu there is a category called, Sometimes I leave Le Marche.

Here are adventures we take in our camper around Europe and perhaps this might be helpful for you in your travels as well.
